Stanley Jordan's first "Guitar Workshop for Japanese speaking guitarists" is now scheduled!

In this workshop you will learn the secret techniques and methods that Stanley used to take the world by storm in the 80's. Stanley still uses these methods today to create groundbreaking new music and to captivate crowds all over the world--not just for artistic and commercial success but also to promote healing through music! Part 1: The Touch Technique and the Basics of Jazz

In this session, we'll go over ready-to-use techniques that will immediately take your playing to the next level. We'll explore how to apply these techniques in real music to keep your listeners at the edge of their seats. You'll then get a crash course in jazz theory and improvisation. Many guitarists would like to upgrade to a more sophisticated style, but they find the language of jazz intimidating or they don't know how to crack the code. Stanley will explain the basics in a way that's so simple you'll be up and running in no time.

Part 2: Keys to Optimal Learning, Improvisation and Composition

Talent alone does not guarantee that you'll develop the skills you need. You also must have an effective learning method. Stanley has developed just such a method and in Part 2 you will learn the basics of this method. It's one of Stanley's best-kept secrets, and it will change your life. These tools will help you in everything you do--not only in music but also in life. This is information you won't find anywhere else.

Part 3: Putting It All Together

This is an opportunity for session attendees not only to review what they have learned but also to present their post-attendance practice results, receive private coaching, answer questions, play with Jordan online, and to have a social gathering.

Each session will be about 3 hours long, with a 15-minute break in between, and will be conducted via zoom with interpretation. For those who have applied but were unable to attend the live seminar, or for those who would like to review the sessions at a later date, live recordings of all the sessions will be available until Saturday, March 26.
